He married Inez Pink in 1929, and the couple raised two sons. Myers' primary philanthropic interest was aging and the elderly. Myers Apartments, an independent living facility for the elderly. He was a founder of the Cleveland City Club, a member of the board of the Cleveland Community Chest, president of Park Synagogue (Anshe Emeth) from 1930-1953, and president of the Jewish Community Council of Cleveland from 1945-1953.
